Twitch’s biggest streamer Amouranth’s Onlyfans account was recently hacked. The hackers attempted to transfer $900,000 to their own bank account.
Kaitlyn ‘Amouranth’ Siragusa is the by far the most famous streamer on Twitch. It owes much of its success to borderline ASMR and paddling pool streams, which prompted Twitch to create a separate category for this type of streaming content, called Pools, Hot Tubs and Beaches, to ship permissive streamers there.
These streams are often used by Twitch streamers as a promotion for the actual main content of the streamer: Onlyfans. Alone via Onlyfans Amouranth earned about 33 million dollars in a short time. Accordingly, there is a lot of money in the Twitch streamer’s Onlyfans account. As Amouranth reported on Twitter, hackers tried to withdraw $900,000 from their Onlyfans account.

On Twitter she writes: “My Onlyfans account, which still has 900,000 dollars, was hacked last night. I got this message after the hackers wanted to change the bank information” and shows a screenshot with the message from Onlyfans in the tweet.
Luckily for the Twitch streamer, the amount couldn’t be transferred to the new account. It failed verification. The hacker was skilled enough to crack two-factor authentication himself; Entering your own bank details didn’t work.
Amouranth later clarified why there was still so much money in her Onlyfans account and why she would use Onlyfans as a kind of bank. The answer is simple: only certain amounts can be debited via Onlyfans. Amouranth withdraws its earnings on a quarterly basis.
So far it is not clear whether the Twitch streamer has full control over her Onlyfans account again after the two-factor authentication was cracked. At least their accumulated $900,000 is still in their account and is unlikely to change hands any time soon.
