Geforce RTX 4090: Nvidia tests access program for the Founders Edition

from Rhonda Bachman
Nvidia has released its new top-of-the-range graphics card model, the Geforce RTX 4090, which has already started a real run in many places. Nvidia now wants to test a new “Verified Priority Access” program, which should enable participants to prioritize the purchase of RTX 4090 Founders Editions.

On October 12 at 3 p.m. German time, the new graphics card flagship Nvidia Geforce RTX 4090 went on sale. Although at least prices around 2,000 euros are called for the card, the Geforce RTX 4090 seems to be enjoying some popularity. Because the new top model cuts an extremely good figure in the test. In some countries, Nvidia has now started a new program to make it easier for verified participants to buy an RTX 4090 Founders Edition.

Nvidia reviews RTX 4090 “Verified Priority Access”

The new program, which Nvidia is testing in selected countries, is somewhat reminiscent of EVGA’s Priority Access. This gives members early access to the EVGA queuing system and the chance to reserve a new graphics card. Apparently Nvidia thinks the same way and is now testing its “verified priority access” in the USA, UK, Germany and the Netherlands, France, Italy and Spain.

As Nvidia writes, the program is intended to give a limited number of GeForce gamers and content creators the opportunity to purchase a GeForce RTX 4090 Founders Edition. Invited users will receive an in-app notification from GeForce Experience. A unique URL will be generated connecting invitees to a Founders Edition partner in the selected regions. In the testing phase, Best Buy (US), Scan (UK), NBB (Germany and Netherlands) and LDLC (France, Italy and Spain) are participating in verified priority access.
