Overwatch 2: Bastion players fear for their main – when will it be back?

Bastion players aren’t having fun in Overwatch 2 right now because their favorite hero has been temporarily removed from the game – but completely – due to a bug. The lovable robot can’t even be found in the hero list in the game itself, which is causing quite a bit of concern for fans.

Without Bastion, without me

His ultimate ability, which transforms into a cannon, has been missing from the game for several days due to a bug that was far too severe. This would have been easy to fix and communicated great why the hero has been missing for so long, Blizzard has not yet either.

Only a Twitter post in which Blizzard explains that Torbjörn and Bastion are on “a little trip” to the workshop is all that remains for the robot’s friends. Torbjörn is now playable again and has never disappeared from the hero gallery.

Some players are upset and angry that a bug fix can take so long, others have already given up on a DPS hero return. Some players try a “Free Bastian” call. Maybe Blizzard is also planning a story stunt, like Fortnite does from time to time, and only keeps the hero under wraps long enough to build suspense.

With the next balance patches slated for the start of Season 2, some fans are suspecting their beloved Bastion won’t be playable again until early December. There is certainly no shortage of theories surrounding the disappearance of the robot.

Bastion disappearing completely from Overwatch 2 is unrealistic. Blizzard certainly doesn’t want to mess with so many fans and certainly didn’t rework the robot and then remove it completely. However, the company shouldn’t remain silent for too long, because slowly the mood of the fans is getting restless, impatient and a little more uncomfortable every day – and they all slowly and definitely deserve a statement about the state of their main.
