WoW: Dragonflight: Roll backwards – Fame rewards are now almost all account-wide
The developers seem to have listened to player feedback. Because in the latest beta patch from WoW: Dragonflight, the glory rewards have been revised. As originally thought, these are almost all account-wide.
What started around the middle of WoW: Shadowlands will be consistently pushed further by the developers with the upcoming Dragonflight expansion. WoW: Dragonflight shouldn’t be much less than the twink-friendly expansion of all time. Admittedly, that’s not difficult either, because twink-friendliness hasn’t been on the developers’ flags for very long.
It was a little surprising, however, when the rewards of the new fame system suddenly appeared in the beta and most of them were not account-wide. Only a handful of the rewards were shared with the alts. The lion’s share had to be unlocked again and again by all characters. Of course, that wasn’t exactly our idea of twink friendliness.
Developers react – almost everything account-wide
In addition to us, a few other players were probably critical and so criticism of the new system was voiced. For their part, the developers heard the players’ displeasure and worked on the adjustments that arrived on the test servers with the latest beta update.
A handful of rewards that applied to all characters on an account has now turned into a mountain. While there are still some rewards that aren’t universal, the vast majority of rewards are now account-wide. Before the adjustment there were only 8 rewards, now there are over 90. So over 90 percent of the rewards are now account-wide.
The only things that won’t continue to be account-wide are the few gear items and perks for your professions. The latter includes various recipes, for example, as well as some improvements to existing recipes.
