PlayStation 5: Native Spotify app is available now

Turn your PlayStation 5 into a MusicStation, because the Spotfiy app is now also available in a native version for the console.

Hints of a native PS5 version of the Spotify app had been spotted a while ago, so the release comes as no surprise.

The native Spotify app doesn’t seem to have any major new features. Some users to report however, that the general volume of the app should be lower than on the PlayStation 4.

Disney recently released a native PS5 version of its Disney Plus app for the console. Although given the current energy costs, you should probably refrain from video streaming on consoles if you have alternative options.
