The Mythic Plus dungeon tests are currently running in the beta of WoW: Dragonflight and the developers are apparently not quite satisfied with the upcoming season affix and are experimenting wildly. The damage buff has been massively increased, but the opponents also get more life points.
With each new Mythic Plus season, we get a new season affix. This will also be the case in the first season of WoW (buy now ): Dragonflight may be the case. And the developers intend to continue on the path they started some time ago. The season affix should also be a so-called kiss/curse affix in the upcoming expansion. So have a negative as well as a positive effect. In the first version of the new season affix thundering For most players, however, the negative effect seemed much stronger than the positive.
The developers apparently saw things the same way and made some adjustments for the current Mythic Plus dungeon test on the beta servers. The damage buff has just been doubled. At the same time, if you don’t remove the debuff, the damage taken has also been increased. But it should be interesting above all that all opponents in the dungeon automatically get more life points as soon as the new season affix is active.
The developers are experimenting with thunder
If you want to know how thunder works in detail, we have described it here in detail for you. Nothing changes fundamentally. The developers have now made the following adjustments:
- Enemies have five percent more life points when thundering is active.
- mark of the wind and mark of lightning now grant you 30 percent more damage.
- The stun duration of both effects is now five seconds (from four seconds).
- Damage while stunned has been increased by approximately 30 percent per tick (every second).
So the bonus for playing well is now significantly higher. At the same time, the penalty for mistakes is also greater. Everyone has to decide for themselves whether they like it. However, it is strange that the developers simply give the opponents more HP. Somehow that doesn’t quite fit the picture.
What do you think of the new affix so far? Do you like the idea of coordinated merging with your fellow players throughout the dungeon? Or did you like the Shadowlands affixes better? For us is continue Proud the best seasonal affix we’ve had to date. Do you agree with us?
