The Dota 2 International 11 has now concluded, with the ruthless Tundra Esports team crowned champions on October 30, having bested Team Secret in the Grand Finals.

Dota 2 fans in Southeast Asia are in for a treat as The International is coming to the region for the first time ever. The International 11 is set to be the biggest Dota 2 championship in the game’s storied esports history.

With the Arlington Major wrapping up on August 14, the first 12 teams to receive a direct invite to the TI11 group stage have been confirmed. Additionally, the regional qualifiers have confirmed that all six teams will head to Singapore for the championship. The last two teams to compete in the group stage came from the last chance qualifiers.

TI11 Dota 2 2022: Schedule

The International 11 will feature four different stages in addition to the Regional Qualifiers that concluded in September. The tournament featured a Last Chance Qualifier for the 12 teams invited from the Regional Qualifiers. Of these 12 teams, only two reached the group stage of the championship. The Last Chance Qualifiers took place from October 8 to 12.

The group stage of The International 11 started on October 15with 20 teams fighting for 16 playoff spots.

That precedes the real action, which will unfold in the final, where the final four teams will battle it out to lift the Aegis of Champions.

The International 11 Dota 2 2022: Venue

Once the group stage concludes, the final 16 teams will head to the main stage and play in front of a sellout crowd. The playoffs will take place on the Suntec Convention and Exhibition Center Singapore.

However, there will be a change of venue for the finals, which will take place at Singapore Indoor Stadium on October 29 and 30.

The International 11 Dota 2 2022: prize pool

The prize pool for The International is always determined based on the sales of the Battle Pass in Dota 2. Since the Battle Pass for TI11 was released later than usual, the prize pool has already exceeded $13 million since its launch. .

However, considering TI’s previous record for prize pools, it seems unlikely that this year’s total amount will exceed last year’s $40 million figure.
