The successful Youtuber Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson not only wants to be the greatest Youtuber of all time, but also likes to get involved socially. The TeamTrees fundraiser, which he co-founded in 2019, has raised $20,000,000 to plant 20,000,000 trees. The fundraising goal was quickly reached, and the planting of the trees lasted until 2022. MrBeast reports success!

The successful Youtuber and influencer Jimmy “MrBeast” Donaldson celebrates a milestone. No, not the 100,000,000 subscribers his main channel on YouTube, but 20,000,000 trees planted as part of the TeamTrees campaign, which he helped initiate and continues to support.

The goal of the TeamTrees fundraiser in 2019 was to raise $20 million to plant 20 million new trees. Because the project was supported by many other Youtubers, including MrBeast’s collaborator Mark Rober, the donation goal was already exceeded by Christmas 2019. In May 2022, $22 million was handed over to the Arbor Day Foundation to plant trees on private and public land in great need. The goal was to get the trees in the ground by December 2022 – and that goal has now been achieved!
