Diablo 4 will be released in April 2023 according to new reports
New reports claim that Diablo 4 will be released in April 2023 and pre-orders for the game will start in December.
The Windows Central website states that the game is scheduled for release in April 2023, and that pre-orders for the game, which will grant players access to a beta version possibly in February, will go live in December during The Game Awards.
Earlier this year, it was reported that an alleged internal Activision document, correctly revealing the release dates for Call of Duty Modern Warfare II and Warzone 2.0, listed The Game Awards as the start of Activision Blizzard’s promotional push for the game. . The Game Awards 2022 will take place on December 8.
Diablo 4 has been running several private betas, most of which have been for friends and family only. However, this hasn’t stopped much of the beta from being streamed online.
As more information about the game is released, the Game Director and Associate Game Director have consistently emphasized that players will not be able to spend real money to upgrade their character’s abilities.
Diablo Immortal launched on June 2 on iOS and Android, and as an open beta on PC, but quickly met with negative reception for its heavy focus on microtransactions.
