God of War Ragnarök on PC – Release only on PS5 and PS4?
God of War Ragnarök will be available exclusively on PS5 and PS4 next week. But will PC gamers be able to join soon?
Santa Monica, California – Only a few months ago it was not even known whether God of War Ragnarök would even be released this year. In the meantime, however, November has begun and the release of Krato’s next, possibly last, adventure is imminent. There is no question that the Greek god has always had his home on the PlayStation consoles. But which consoles will God of War Ragnarok actually appear on? We show you all the platforms where you can gamble the mythological epic.

God of War Ragnarok: All Platforms at Release – Is a PC Version in the Prospect?
Which consoles is Ragnarok coming to? Kratos’ residency on the PlayStation does not change in God of War Ragnarök either. Since the first part of 2005, the “God of War” games have been appearing almost exclusively on the Sony consoles, and that’s how it stays with the new release. What changes this time, however, is that Ragnarök comes on two different generations of consoles when it is released. So you will be able to play the game on both PS4 and PS5.

Beyond that, however, it becomes thin. God of War Ragnarök is an exclusive title, so the game will almost certainly not be released on Xbox or Nintendo Switch. But Sony’s Santa Monica Studio can get a lot out of the PS5. God of War Ragnarök is said to run on the PS5 with absolutely stunning graphics and 120 FPS, thanks to four different graphics modes that should cover pretty much every need.
What about the PC? God of War Ragnarök may not have to live a completely lonely existence on the PlayStation. In recent years, Sony has turned more and more to the PC with its exclusive titles. Games like Death Stranding, Uncharted, Marvel’s Spider-Man or God of War (2018) appeared for computers in the years after their original releases. A similar process is not impossible for God of War Ragnarök.
At least for now, Kratos remains loyal to the PS4 and PS5. Ragnarok celebrates its release on November 8, 2022, so you still have a little time to pre-order God of War Ragnarok on PS4 and PS5.
