ARK: Survival of the Fittest: Crossplay Prototype launches on Xbox in December

Activision Blizzard: Phil Spencer pleased with acquisition progress

ARK: The Survival Of The Fittest will launch a crossplay prototype on Xbox in December.

ARK: Survival of the Fittest was announced in 2016 as a standalone expansion alongside Survival Evolved. In the Free Multiplayer Online Surival Arena, 72 players should fight for survival and victory similar to “The Hunger Games”.

In the same year of the announcement, the versions for consoles were stopped for the time being, as they wanted to get the PC version on solid ground first.

Now ARK: The Survival Of The Fittest has been announced as a crossplay prototype for PC, Xbox and Playstation. The game was developed from scratch and provided with revised mechanics.

The crossplay prototype for PC, Xbox and PlayStation is scheduled for release in December. Nintendo Switch will follow in 2023.
