CoD: MW 2 (2022): New Nvidia drivers for GeForce graphics cards

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 & Warzone 2: This is new with the Season 1 update

After 10 days of unlocking Modern Warfare 2, the latest installment in the Call of Duty series, Nvidia has one today, November 10, 2022 tuned drivers for GeForce graphics cards released. As is well known, many Call of Duty players report technical problems. Our author has been able to play in multiplayer mode with a GeForce RTX 3060 Ti for about 20 hours since the release, largely without crashes, but had experienced one or the other hangup and struggled with freezes, especially in the lobby menu.

Nvidia probably took a little more time because of the problems and has now released the GeForce Game Ready driver in version 525.86. The driver package for Windows 10 and 11, each in the 64-bit version, has a download size of a good 812 megabytes. In the driver description, Nvidia emphasizes that the stability has been increased and image problems have been fixed. The support of DLSS and Nvidia Reflex should also run smoothly(er) now. DLSS in particular should be of interest to Nvidia users. Because the increase in performance with an almost identical look is great, as you can read in our feature on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, in which we used a GeForce RTX 3060.
