Dark Souls Remastered reactivates online options for PC
After having disabled the online options of Dark Souls Remastered, due to an exploit that could result in information theft and system crash, these online features are now available again on PC. The news was released through the official Twitter account and they appreciate the patience that the players had.
Follow the same features that are reactivated for Dark Souls 3 and Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin. Owners of the base version of Dark Souls 2 on PC they still have to wait until later for online features to be restored.
It is worth noting that Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition you will not have your online services restored on PC. Due to an “aging system”, which makes sense given that this version was released in 2012. It may be a good time to move on to Dark Souls Remastered for PvP needs.
Online features for the PC version of #DarkSouls: Remastered have been reactivated.
Thank you once again for your patience, understanding, and support. pic.twitter.com/IZ8lsfx3Tx
