Epic Store: There will be two free games again next week
It’s Thursday again, and on top of that it’s after 5 p.m. Any regular user of the Epic Games Store will already know exactly what that means: new free games are up for grabs, and next week’s free titles have been announced. This time you have until November 17th to get Alba – A Wildlife Adventure and Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun. Once the deadline for the two titles has expired, the next free games are already waiting to be added to your library.
Horror or a bit of strategy?
On the one hand, the tactical role-playing game Dark Deity, which was originally released in 2021, awaits you next week. Fans of games like Final Fantasy Tactics will surely feel right at home with this title, which sees you leading a team of four military academy students and fighting “handcrafted turn-based combat scenarios” with them. Of the almost 2,000 user ratings on Steam, 74 percent are positive, so strategy fans should definitely not miss out on Dark Deity.
The Epic Games Store also has something in store for all horror fans next week. Those who have already enjoyed the fairly popular asymmetrical horror game Dead by Daylight will surely be happy to know that the Epic Games Store will soon be giving away Evil Dead: The Game to all users. Here, players take control of various characters from the Evil Dead franchise, summon powerful demons as adversaries, or try to banish them again as survivors.
Until the two new free titles are activated, you still have time to secure the current full versions, which are distributed in the Epic Games Store. If you link Alba – A Wildlife Adventure and Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun to your game library by November 17 at 5 p.m., you can keep the titles forever after that.
