In order to be successful with the Tiqqun space station, the player must think strategically, but also maintain the integrity of the space station’s hull and properly manage power consumption. In Ixion, the space station has six unlockable sectors. Each section houses more people still in cryosleep, but also provides support for new jobs when unlocked. The space station is dependent on the population not mutiny – for this purpose it can also be monitored.

Ixion has several story chapters in which the crew of the space station can also encounter other survivors of the end of the world in space. This always presents the player with new threats or opportunities to reach a new home. As the journey progresses, researching new technologies and resources will be an important part of the admin’s duties. To this end, the Tiqqun Station is constantly being modified, improved and expanded with new buildings. The dangers facing the player are hull fractures, overloaded power supplies or electrical fires. The player must weigh the risks, deal with emergencies and ensure the overall security of the space station.

Technically, the game is frugal. You need a good 20 GB of disk space, otherwise a Core i7-4790 or Ryzen 3 3200G is recommended. There is also 16 GiB RAM and an RTX 2060 6 GB or a Radeon RX 5700.
