Yoshitsugu Matsuoka is Kirito’s voice actor in Sword Art Online: Last Recollection, who has now reached out to fans with a message.

Bandai Namco Entertainment recently announced Sword Art Online: Last Recollection. The role-playing game, which reinterprets the original story of Reki Kawahara, will be released next year for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One.

Yoshitsugu Matsuoka, who lends his voice to the character Kirito in the game, now commented on the announcement with a few words and spoke about the game.

Matsuoka said the game has its own original story, which is set in the War of Underworld arc but explores a separate storyline that wasn’t in the anime.

He also answered the question of how he felt after the end of the recording and finally has a message for the fans.
