Pokémon GO: Trainers show the Crypto Shinys that you can catch now

In Pokémon GO, the Rocket takeover event started in November 2022. That brings other cryptos to the leaders. Trainers confirm that you can get Shiny Crypto Mabbler, Shiny Crypto Machollo, and Shiny Crypto Zobiris.

Why are there other Crypto Shinys? The Pokemon teams that Team GO Rocket members fight with change regularly. If you defeat team members, you will get a chance to catch one of their Cryptos after the fight.

The Rocket takeover has been running since November 14th, which brought some changes. Trainers now confirm that the Cryptos are also available as Shinys again and that the event is going according to plan in this case. Here we show you the dazzling Cryptos that you can catch at Sierra, Arlo and Cliff.

Shiny crypto fibber

Where is this available? After the fight with Arlo, you will be rewarded with Crypto Mabbler. If you’re lucky, you can find and catch shiny Crypto Mabblers. Use our counter guide against Arlo to easily win the fight.

How does it look like? In the screenshot below you can see the iridescent form of a Crypto Mabbler.

Shiny Crypto Machollo

Where is this available? If you successfully fight the Rocket leader Cliff, you will be rewarded with a Crypto Machollo encounter after the fight. Here, too, there is a chance that you will meet the Crypto as Shiny. Our counter-guide against Cliff shows you how to easily win the match.

Shiny Crypto Zobiris

Where is this available? For successfully defeating the Rocket leader Sierra, you will receive an encounter with Crypto Zobiris. Our counter-guide against Sierra shows which Pokémon she competes with and how to defeat them.

How does it look like? Lucky Trainers were able to catch dazzling Crypto Zobiris right after the launch of the Rocket acquisition. You can see what they look like in the screenshot below:

So now it’s your chance to find and catch those Crypto Shinys again. The screenshots of the trainers were important so that there is also “official” confirmation for these catches.

In previous events, the Shinys sometimes didn’t start right away and trainers wasted their encounters.
