The second day has begun for the participants at 7 vs. Wild. And right now defending champion Fritz Meinecke of all people is already struggling with his psyche.

After initial difficulties in his search for a suitable shelter spot, he is now reaching his limits in the daily challenge. Completely exhausted, the series founder expresses serious concerns about his continued participation in the YouTube show for the first time.

7 vs. Wild: Fritz Meinecke is already struggling with low on day 2 – “It scares me”
That’s what it’s about: Fritz Meinecke is a co-founder of 7 vs. Wild and was even the winner of the first season in Sweden. So it’s no wonder that fans also count him as one of the absolute favorites of the second season. When entering the jungle, the YouTuber was also visibly motivated to defend his title as a survival professional, but on day two on the island things are already looking very different, because Fritz Meinecke is struggling with a serious low.

Fritz Meinecke questions participation: After just one day, the serial founder’s exhaustion can be seen. In completely soaked clothes, he can no longer bring himself to continue building his shelter to protect himself from the weather. “I realize how after a little over 24 hours […] really screwed up. Physically suddenly, but also mentally”.
While Knossi extensively celebrates his first opened coconut, Fritz Meinecke has doubts because nothing has gone according to plan for him so far. When he sinks his self-made arrow into the river for the day’s challenge, even the last bit of motivation seems to be gone. ‘In that second I really hate it and ask myself, why am I doing the sh*t?’“.
7 vs. Wild: Fritz Meinecke misses idyll on the island – “The jungle is brutal”
Other expectations: But Fritz Meinecke can also explain his extreme dissatisfaction, because the serial founder came to the island with completely different expectations. “I imagined it all to be more idyllic […] you have a sandy beach in front of your eyes, awesome clear water in which you can freedive, you can see fish, lots of coconuts. I think that’s what’s getting me down right now.”. Another participant didn’t exactly hit the jackpot with his location either, because crocodiles were spotted at Otto’s spot at 7 vs. Wild.
Instead, the reality for the YouTuber looks very different, because Fritz Meinecke was not abandoned on a tropical dream beach. “And now I kind of realize I’m kind of stuck on some piece of rock because the jungle is absolutely brutal, surrounded by garbage everywhere”. But the worst thing for him is that he doesn’t know how to get out of his low, because with 7 vs. Wild he doesn’t have the means to “push” himself.
