Pokémon Go: Astral Eclipse – Solgaleo and Lunala finally here!

In Pokémon Go, the end of the season of light celebrated with the Pokémon Go Astral Eclipse and Pokémon Go Ultra Beast Arrival! From November 23, 2022, the Cosmovum developments Solgaleo and Lunala will finally be available in Pokémon Go Special Research “A cosmic companion” ends and you can be showered with stardust via a collector’s challenge. Below you will find all the details known so far about the Pokémon Go Astral Eclipse, which we will update once the event has started.

Astral Eclipse in Pokémon Go

Solgaleo and Lunala will become available in Pokémon Go with the event. The astral eclipse starts on November 23, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. and ends on November 28, 2022 at 8:00 p.m. our time.

• For 100 Cosmog candies you can evolve Cosmovum into Solgaleo during the day.
• For 100 Cosmog candies you can evolve Cosmovum into Lunala at night.
• Final steps and rewards of Special Research “A Cosmic Companion” will be unlocked.
• In the game you can admire the Nebula sky during the astral eclipse.
• In the wild, the following Astral Eclipse Pokémon appear more frequently: Alola Rattwitch, Alola Sandan, Cleo, Alolan Vulpix, Stardu, Hoothoot, Suncore, Lunastein, Solrock, Somniam, Wumboll, Lilminip, and Mangunior. With luck, you can also get hold of all these Pokémon, with the exception of Lilminip, as Shiny.

In the raids you will encounter the following raid bosses. The Pokémon that you can be lucky enough to catch as Shiny after your victory are marked with (+).

Astral Eclipse Collector Challenges

During the event, you can complete several Collector Challenges that will reward you with lots of Stardust for your efforts. It is not yet known which Pokémon you have to catch as part of this. We will update our guide as soon as there is precise information. But you can count on collecting the mon, which appear more frequently in the wild, as mentioned above.

Ultra Beast Arrival

On November 27, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time, the Ultra Beasts will take over the Pokémon Go Gyms.
