God of War Ragnarok will not have DLC in the future

God of War Ragnarok State of Play GamersRD21

It has been known for some time that the new God of War Ragnarok It was going to be the last game in the saga within Norse mythology. However, while the main story arc that began with 2018’s title has concluded, there are still questions it leaves unanswered. Many have speculated that a resolution to some of those loose threads could come as post-launch DLC, but it turns out that doesn’t look like it’s going to happen.

Speaking recently with Kinda Funny, when the director was asked about the issue from the game God of War RagnarokEric Williams said that the game is unlikely to get an expansion.

“I don’t know, man, that game is big. I think we put everything we had into it, so I wouldn’t count on it.”

Santa Monica Studio has never really been a developer that releases expansions for its games once they’re out, so it’s not exactly a surprise that it’s not going to break that pattern with God of War Ragnarok.

God of War Ragnarok is available on PS5 and PS4. You can read our review at this link.
