Crossplay between PS4/PS5 and PC

Is that possible? No, there is no crossplay between PC and PlayStation (PS4 and PS5). You can’t play together.

Crossplay between PS4/PS5 and Xbox

Is that possible? No, you cannot play alongside Xbox One or Xbox Series X|S on PS4 or PS5. Crossplay between the different consoles is not active.

However, the console generations can play with each other. So crossplay between PS4 and PS5 is possible. Crossplay between Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S is also possible.

But even here there are exceptions. Those who play the enhanced version cannot play together with players of the old version. You can avoid this by playing the PS4 version of GTA Online on the PS5, for example. Then you can also play together with PS4 players.

Crossplay between Xbox and PC

Is that possible? No, Xbox players cannot crossplay GTA Online with PC players. Again, the combination of console and PC is not available.

Crossplay between Steam, Epic Games and Social Club (Rockstar Launcher)

Is that possible? Yes, there is a possibility here. On the PC, all players can play with each other.

All players from the Epic Games Store, Rockstar Launcher and Steam can play together in crossplay. You will be connected on the PC via the Social Club. Here you can add yourselves as friends and join each other’s game sessions.

Should there still be crossplay between PlayStation/Xbox and PC or Xbox and PlayStation?

This is the status: So far there are no official statements that GTA Online wants to expand its crossplay. Although the developers are always up for surprises, it is unlikely (but not impossible) that the game from 2013 will change everything again.
