This week Nintendo has the next routes for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe featured, which will soon be added to the game as part of the Booster Track Pass. It’s the third of a total of six waves that we’re starting with December 7, 2022 be able to gamble on Nintendo Switch. As before, these new additions are well-known courses that we know from the other offshoots of Mario Kart. Of course, the routes have received some visual adjustments from the team.
Video introduces improvements
How exactly these changes turn out, has now GameXplain YouTube channel scrutinized. They compared the latest trailer we received for the third wave of DLC with the original games in the racing series back then to show the differences that we will soon see in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (buy now €49.99 ) may expect. In particular, clear optimizations can be seen in the tracks from parts such as Mario Kart 7 (Nintendo 3DS) or Mario Kart Wii.
Not visible in the video is a comparison to the course from Mario Kart: Super Circuit – but we already got a taste of it in the Nintendo trailer. A total of eight tracks will be added to the racing game in December. Including three other courses from the mobile offshoot Mario Kart Tour. We will have the complete list for you on Monday in our Report presented. You can find the video below.
With the release of wave 3 of the booster track pass, half of the planned tracks have been integrated into Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. The remaining courses of the DLC should end up in the game by the end of 2023 at the latest. Of the Booster Track Pass can either be purchased individually for 24.99 euros in the Nintendo eShop or – at no additional cost – via a paid membership Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack be obtained.
