Dead Island 2: Finally new gameplay! – then it starts
After years of back and forth and a lot of silence about the sequel to Dead Island, which was released in 2011, it should soon be ready. With the re-reveal at this year’s Gamescom, we finally saw a new, promising sign of life from the second part of the zombie apocalypse. After the February release on the April 28, 2023 was postponed, that caused some anxiety about the status of the game again. As a bright spot, though, we now have a gameplay showcase to look forward to.
We’ll find out in the live stream
Just in time for St. Nicholas Day, Deep Silver and Dambuster Studios are presenting new gameplay in the form of a YouTube stream on December 6th at 9 p.m. German time. You get an insight into the story of three survivors of the zombie virus in Los Angeles.
In addition to various gameplay features, a co-op mode is also assumed due to the number of survivors. It was already there in the first part and it enriched the gaming experience immensely.
You can also look forward to a high degree of brutality, if that’s something for you. If Dead Island 2 (buy now ) then it will also appear in the uncut original form with us, is still unclear.
If everything goes well, expect us Dead Island 2 on April 28th 2023 for PC, Playstation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X/S. Let’s hope that it finally stays that way and that we don’t have to wait any longer for the zombie adventure. But the title has never looked as good as it does now, and developer studio Dambuster emphasizes that they are already on the home stretch and want to release a game that they can be proud of. That definitely sounds very final and lets us look positively to April.
