In Pokémon Crimson and Crimson you can explore the open world RPG together with friends and go on the hunt for new pocket monsters. Learn in this guide how to start the co-op and what activities await you.

What are the requirements for co-op mode?

“Pokémon Crimson” and “Pokémon Crimson” you can co-op with up to three other players gamble. In order to meet and exchange ideas with other trainers online, you need a active Nintendo Switch Online subscription.

Alternatively you can even in offline mode play with each other. No Switch Online subscription is required for this. However, this mode requires that your fellow players also a Nintendo Switch along with the respective game. A Split screen mode is unfortunately not intended for “Pokémon Crimson” and Crimson.

How to start co-op in Pokémon Crimson and Crimson

To start the online mode, you must first log in via the Circle of Friends function associate. You can find this in the menu of the Poke Portal at the top. Here you can either join existing group or a create your own team.

If you want to join a group, you need the right one Link code from group host. Otherwise, as the group creator, you must set your own code and then share it with your friends. Of the local co-op mode works the same way:

  • first create a group
  • invites other players with a link code
  • or join a group yourself using the link code

In multiplayer you can explore the Paldea region with your friends explore and fight. This goes both with and against each other.
