NfS Unbound: Critical fan is referred to as a “milkshake brain” by EA employees
Before the engines roar in Need for Speed Unbound on December 2nd, there will be trouble with the fans. An EA employee described a user as a “milkshake brain”.
Preorder Need for Speed Unbound can do their rounds from 8 a.m. on November 29th, everyone else from December 2nd. After this announcement, publisher EA has received critical voices. A Twitter user complains that only users of the more expensive Palace Edition are allowed to play the new NfS three days beforehand. EA responded by referring to the person as “Milkshake Brain”. One should cry about it or just buy it at regular price.
EA apologizes
In the meantime it has EA publicly apologizes for the inappropriate response and the relevant tweets deleted.
“We admit we got a little lost in the hype around the launch and some of our recent responses on social media went too far. To the fans we’ve upset, we apologize. We’ll get better. We’ll see us here next week” – statement by EA.
The Palace Edition includes the in-game bonuses banner, sticker, license plate, driving effect and 150,000 credits. In addition, buyers can play the new Need for Speed three days in advance. The preload is already possible on the PC and the Xbox Series X | S, owners of a Playstation have to wait until November 27th.
