SONY: PC port of Gran Turismo 7 under consideration

A PC port of Gran Turismo 7 is being considered by developer Polyphony Digital.

Racing game Gran Turismo 7 could be the next PlayStation exclusive game to be released on PC.

When asked if the developer would consider porting the game to PC, Polyphony Digital’s Kazunori Yamauchi told GTPlanet, “Yes, I think so.”

But porting Gran Turismo 7 to another platform would not be that easy.

“Gran Turismo is a very finely tuned title. There aren’t many platforms that the game could natively run in 4K/60p, so one way we’re making this possible is by platform narrowing. It’s not a very easy subject, but of course we’re looking at it and considering it.”

Sony has previously brought exclusive games like Sackboy, Uncharted: The Legacy of Thieves Collection and Spider-Man to PC. Further publications can be expected in the future.
