Dr Disrespect is one of the most controversial streamers and is well known for playing shooter games more specifically Call of Duty.

I recently criticized Activision as “out of character” after he was banned from Warzone 2.0 for a week for his use of proximity chat. The feature means that when players are close to in-game opponents, they can listen to the enemies’ conversations and talk to them.

Dr Disrespect has been among those who have enjoyed his additions, recently taunting a sick player and getting even more satisfaction from taking out a sniper who was streaming after hearing the audio of his own stream in the background.

Dr. Disrespect is currently circumventing the ban by continuing to play Call of Duty: Warzone 2 on an alternate account. “This is not even my account“, he admitted. “My other one was banned for seven days for using proximity chat. Believe it or not, champs. So we’re playing in an alternative“. It’s worth noting that the controversial streamer and Activision haven’t seen eye to eye, as Dr Disrespect wasn’t invited to the Warzone 2 creator event, leading to further frustration. Dr Disrespect has remained open to criticizing Activision for not being in touch with its player base due to the most recent snub and suspension.

However, he has stated multiple times about his experience just how out of touch he thinks Activision and Call of Duty developers have become of late, noting that the seven-day suspension comes on the eve of the $100,000 tournament. While most fans of his are siding with his stance and criticism of the game, some are beginning to wonder if it’s time for Dr Disrespect to step back and choose the right path.
