In Crimson, Pokémon and NPCs have a tendency to crash
The ninth generation of Pokémon began with Pokémon Crimson & Crimson. Despite the technical difficulties, the game has sold over ten million copies so far. Many of the bugs disrupt the flow of the game and frustrate the fan base, but there are also bugs that amuse us rather than bother us.
Pokémon and NPCs plunge into the abyss
What happened? A Pokémon player uploaded a clip to social media of Nemila slowly approaching a ledge. She slides further and further towards the abyss and at some point loses her footing completely:

Unfortunately, it is not possible to see whether Nemila will be teleported back up after the crash or will be left in the abyss forever. But not only NPCs seem to have the problem, Pokémon also have a tendency to throw themselves into the abyss or drown in the lake:

The clips show bugs that are less of a disruptive impact to gameplay and more add to our amusement. Because probably Nemila, Krokel and other Pokémon will not be banished to the eternal abyss.

Crimson with technical problems
In contrast to the other technical problems, the jumps of the NPCs and Pokémon are rather harmless. The frame rate also crashes frequently in crimson/crimson. In addition, the game world with its reloading textures and objects causes frustration among the players.
In our GamePro test, we also report on the technical weaknesses to be expected with crimson and purple. That’s why the title got a deduction in the B grade in the rating. You can read the full review of Pokémon Crimson & Crimson here.
