Updated December 1st at 8:25am: Good morning everyone. It’s December 1st and that means Christmas is fast approaching. Sony had already announced in the summer that it would boost PS5 production for the Christmas business and has also delivered: We were able to experience a total of 12 drops from PlayStation Direct, Sony’s in-house distribution, in November. Overall, last November was the month with the most PS5 drops since release. It is therefore looking similarly good for December. MediaMarkt will start immediately with a new pre-order campaign in the local markets. For a deposit of €100 you should receive your PS5 by December 31, 2022. So it’s best to stop by a branch near you when you get a chance. The campaign is scheduled to run until December 22nd, but only while stocks last.

In terms of online drops, everything is pretty much back to zero right now. All traders are anticipating new shipments and are potential candidates for a new drop. Above all, of course, PS Direct. There is currently no specific indication, so we are keeping an eye on all retailers equally.
