Monster Hunter Rise could finally come to Xbox and PlayStation in January

Recent reports say that Monster Hunter Rise could be on its way to the Xbox and PlayStation consoles. The latest entry in Capcom’s beloved franchise was released for the Nintendo Switch in March last year and has also been playable on PC since January 2022.

The monsters are spreading

According to Tom Hendersons Insiders Gaming the title will reportedly make it to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Game Pass on January 20, 2023. Monster Hunter Rise is said to run at 4K resolution and 60 frames per second and be equipped with 3D audio. The Sunbreak extension should also find its way onto the new platforms. But only in the “spring” of next year.

If these claims are true, an official announcement at the Game Awards on December 8th is highly likely. That way, Capcom could break the big news early and in front of a large audience, and get Xbox and PlayStation gamers on the hunt for monsters.
