Pokémon Crimson and Crimson got off to a rather bumpy start in the new open world realms and many players have complained and made fun of numerous bugs and glitches since the switch RPG was released. A new patch (version 1.1.0) is supposed to bring more bug fixes today.

When will update 1.1.0 be released? The new update for the open world adventure is scheduled to be released today, December 1, 2022, writes Nintendo on Twitter. At the time of writing this article, the patch is not yet available. We’ll update the news as soon as you can download it.

What’s in Patch 1.1.0?

The new update brings the first season of Rankend Battles to Battle Stadium. Here you can prove your skills as a trainer online and compete against other players.

In addition, the fresh patch has other bug fixes in its luggage, the following can be read in the patch notes (to be found on the official Nintendo of America support site):

However, the official changelog does not state which additional bugs are specifically eliminated.

In the same breath, Nintendo apologizes for the technical issues in Pokemon Crimson and Crimson:

“We are aware that many gamers are encountering issues that affect the game’s performance. Our goal is to always provide gamers with a positive experience with our games, and we apologize for the inconvenience. We accept that We take player feedback very seriously and are constantly working to improve the games,” the Nintendo of America official support website said.

How do I download the latest software update? This should usually happen automatically. You can also start the patch manually by selecting the relevant game in your Switch UI and then pressing the plus or minus button. Then go to “Software Update” and select “Via the Internet”. The patch should now load if it is live.
