Amnesia – The Bunker: New part announced in World War I – News

The Swedish developer Frictional Games is best known for its horror hits SOMA and Amnesia-The Dark Descent known. The latter series will be announced with the now Amnesia-The Bunker continued. This puts you in the shoes of a World War I soldier wandering through the trenches from which all other humans have disappeared while a monster is chasing him.

The game description advertises a semi-open world in which you don’t have to approach tasks linearly and in which there are several ways to solve them. There should be randomized elements for this. What’s interesting about the announcement trailer: Amnesia – The Dark Descent started the rise of horror games where players can’t defend themselves, but in The Bunker your character has a revolver.

Amnesia – The Bunker will be released in March 2023 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One and Xbox Series S|X and will also be available in Xbox Game Pass. Also appearing in spring 2023 ad infinitum (Alluded to at Gamescom) a World War I psychological horror from German studio Hekate.
