Replenishment situation on 03.12. – How about drops in December?
At the start of December, OTTO already offered the PS5. Is there anything else going on in terms of fresh console supplies at the end of the year?
Hamburg – OTTO is one of the most important replenishment sizes with regard to the PS5 – at least here in Germany. OTTO is also at the start of Sony’s gigantic PS5 campaign, which started on December 1st. We look at the current replenishment situation at this retailer at the start of the last month of 2022.

When was the last time you could buy the PS5 from OTTO? That’s not so long ago. Just yesterday, on December 1st, Sony started a gigantic PS5 pre-order campaign and OTTO is also part of it. Yesterday you could secure the PS5 in the God of War Bundle (digital and with drive) at OTTO – with delivery by January 31st at the latest.

What is the current status of fresh PS5 supplies? The PS5 is currently not available from OTTO – not even as part of the pre-order campaign mentioned. But this should still be up to 22.12. run and it is quite possible that OTTO will add more by then. If all participating dealers would shoot their entire powder on day 1, you wouldn’t need such a long promotion period.
We therefore recommend keeping a close eye on OTTO over the next few days and weeks up to December 22nd. There is a good chance that something will come up again soon.
