Scalpers are desperately trying to sell RTX 4080 dearly – are now sitting on it because dealers do not want the graphics cards back
Gamers compete with scalpers for graphics cards. But people who want to resell graphics cards probably face big problems. Because nobody wants the expensive graphics cards.
When the RTX 4080 was presented, Nvidia was already criticized that the price for the new graphics card was far too high. And when it was released, the prices went up again. You currently pay at least 2200 euros for an RTX 4090 (via geizhals.de).
Scalpers must have figured it was a great idea to resell $2,000 graphics cards for a hefty premium. Some of the prices on eBay for the RTX 4090 were over 4,000 euros
But now not only are scalpers sitting on their graphics cards because nobody wants to buy them, but dealers don’t want them back either.

What is the current situation? It’s no big surprise that the RTX 4080 isn’t really selling well. Because with rising prices and high inflation, very few are willing to invest thousands of euros in a graphics card.
