Published by Krafton, the game is directed by Glen A. Schofield of Dead Space fame and sees players control Jacob Lee’s prison as he fights to escape from Black Iron prison.

Lee confronts other inmates infected by a strange virus, turning them into biophagous. These creatures can mutate upon taking damage, becoming more dangerous unless you fire their tentacles. Since ammo is in short supply, he will need to rely on melee combat and GRP, a Kinesis-like ability to launch enemies into environmental hazards.

There is much more to come for The Callisto Protocol. It will have New Game + and Hardcore Mode on February 7, 2023, for free. Season Pass owners get new Outer Way armor the same day, followed by Contagion Mode in March 2023 and Riot Mode in Spring 2023. In the meantime, stay tuned for more details.
