The Callisto Protocol receives a console patch that resolves framerate and crash issues
The Callisto Protocol of Striking Distance Studios has recently received a patch on all consoles. The developer revealed on Twitter that it should fix the frame rate and crashing issues that players have been reporting.
He also promised more details on other improvements earlier in the week. “We’re listening, working hard on updates, and will have details to share about more future enhancements early this week.”
The developer revealed that ray-traced shadows “are supported and look great” on console. However, there are issues with ray traced reflections that are currently being addressed. “More information will come this week. We appreciate your patience and support.”
High Dynamic Range (HDR) lighting is also reportedly not working on Xbox Series X. Striking Distance hasn’t commented as much, but stay tuned for more updates.
