5 cool mounts you can get quickly in WoW Dragonflight

In addition to the cool, flying dragon mounts, which you can further upgrade and customize from four basic types, there are also regular mounts in the new Dragonflight expansion that you can purchase. Some of these are very rare and difficult to obtain. Others, on the other hand, look cool and are available quite quickly at the start of the game.

Lizi – Thunderspine trampler

What is that? Behind the cute name “Lizi” is a colossal lizard of the species “Thunderspine trampler”. By the way, Lizi’s ultimate goal in life is to eat all the fruits in the world. But until she’s done that, you’re welcome to use her as a mount.

How and where do you get it? Lizi is easy to get. All you have to do is complete a quest aptly titled Taming the Thunderspine Made Easy. You can find this quest in the Plains of Ohn’ahra area

Ottuk the Ivory Merchant

What is that? Have you always wanted to ride a cute giant otter? Then make your dream come true and get an Ottuk mount. The Ivory Merchant’s Ottuk is a gray and white animal that carries a tusked saddle and a fishing rod.

How and where do you get it? The Ivory Merchant’s Ottuk is easy to obtain. All you have to do is exchange three rings – which you can loot in dungeons – with the trader Tattakiaka in the Azure Mountains.

Stormhide Salamanther

What is that? This is a fearsome animal that looks like a cross between a lizard and a big cat. This specimen has been imbued with powerful storm energy, yet is serene enough to be ridden. A true rarity among these pugnacious beasts!

How and where do you get it? To get the Stormhide Salamanther, you must wait until the Primalist Invasions world events become available. If you fend off these attacks, you can earn Elemental Abundance as a resource. If you exchange 2,000 of these with Mythressa in Valdrakken, you will get your Salamanther mount.

Zenetchicken

What is that? This little animal is a magnificent bird with black and red plumage. A worthy mount for any explorer of the Dragon Isles.

How and where do you get it? In order to get the Zenet Chick, you have to do a bit of grinding. Because the egg is dropped by a certain monster called “Zenet Avis”. This monster can be found in the Plains of Ohn’ahra.

fluttering dragonflies

What is that? These mounts are giant insects, more specifically dragonflies. They come in different colors, like the Azure Fluttering Dragonfly. So if you’ve always wanted to ride a dazzling dragonfly animal, then this mount is for you.

How and where do you get it? The Fluttering Dragonflies can be bought regularly from the Dragonscale Expedition. All you have to do is reach fame level 25 with this faction, then you can get your hands on the dazzling beauties.
