With the new update, Disney Dreamlight Valley now lets you enter in-game codes to get free items. However, the first code has so far puzzled fans, because you get a golden potato for it – and nobody knows what to do with it.

Dreamlight Valley has its first gift code

A few days ago, fans discovered the code “GPOT-OATO-LDFS-ENNM” in a teaser image and entered it in the game. However, it stopped working within a few hours, so only a few were able to get the golden potato as a reward – until now. In the meantime, the code has been unlocked again, so you too can now secure your very own potato. Only what you should do with it is still written in the stars.

So far, fans have not been able to find any use for the item in the game. Some had previously guessed that he would be part of a new quest in the big winter update.

This is how you can enter codes in Dreamlight Valley

If you still want to secure the potato, you just have to follow a few simple steps:

  • Opens the menu and switches to the tab “settings” rightmost.
  • Click down to tab “Help“.
  • Here you can in the window “redemption code” enter the code “GPOT-OATO-LDFS-ENNM”. Do not forget the dashes.
  • Then click on “claim“.
  • If you have confirmation that the code has been redeemed, get the item from the Post office box next to your house.

You can do this if you get an error message: It can happen that you get an error message when claiming. But that doesn’t mean that the code is invalid. Nevertheless, check your mailbox or, if in doubt, enter the code again. Several fans have already reported that it doesn’t work on the first try.
