Surprising gift for Twitch streamer Amouranth: An anonymous Christmas elf gives the 29-year-old a package with 70,000 US dollars – and a bodyguard.

Houston, USA – Amouranth has already experienced many strange things during her time as a streamer on Twitch, including a stalker break-in at her house and a hacker attack, but with this package even she had to marvel: she found no less in a broadcast sent in anonymously $70,000 in cash, a brand new iPhone and a pre-paid bodyguard number.

Amouranth: Bodyguard to protect her from husband

She initially unsuspectingly opened the fan mail on her stream and, amazed, counted the bundles with dollar bills, the kind you only see in a Hollywood Heist film. “I thought the money was fake”she commented, aghast, asking the question that is now occupying her whole fan base: “Who are you?” An included letter fuels the mystery.

What’s behind the package? While remaining anonymous, the generous Christmas elf included a letter with the gift that, to Kaitlyn Siragusa, better known as Amouranth, seemed just as odd as the package’s contents. “I’ve provided some vital defenses and some cash to ensure no financial manipulations can thwart your resolve.”says the document, which the visibly confused streamer read to her live audience, modestly and factually.

The author of the letter is probably referring to the decision recently announced by Amouranth to take a break from streaming. Siragusa caught this in the wake of the controversy surrounding Amouranth’s toxic husband, who temporarily seized control of her finances and manipulated her.

Apparently, the sender of the package wants to ensure that Amouranth can get the break it wants without interference. As the Twitch streamer herself noted with surprise, there are no demands for anything in return in the letter. As the 29-year-old Houston streamer insists, the letter contained no romantic advances from the generous fan:

That’s what it says in the letter. It doesn’t say the creepy ‘Run away with me, please marry me’ that it usually does. It’s just a letter that says, ‘Here are your things, have a nice life.’

Is it just a good deed? The only clue to the identity, and perhaps a secondary motive, of the patron – obviously quite wealthy – is the second phone number that the package contains alongside the number of the bodyguard service: it belongs to the sender.

It is not yet known if Amouranth has any plans to dial her. After what has been a turbulent year for the Houston Twitch streamer, perhaps it’s better not to learn more about the motive of the benefactor, and instead accept the act for what it seems on the surface: a caring gesture, as one very seldom sees.
