In Kynseed you can manage a farm, but you can also embark on adventures. At some point you just have to give up the spoon.

Kynseed With its lovingly designed world and pixel graphics, it is very reminiscent at first glance Stardew Valley. However, if you take a closer look at what is behind the life simulation, you will immediately notice big differences. It starts with the fact that the story concept “we take over the family heritage”, on which many farm sims are based, is spun a little further here.

In Kynseed, your character actually dies when he or she reaches a certain age and has to pass the baton on. For you, however, this does not mean game over, but continue playing with the next generation. But that’s not the only difference to Stardew Valley.

A sim where not all is sunshine and roses

Kynseed is out today, so on December 6 for PC, after the game has already spent a long time in Early Access and has collected many positive reviews. Incidentally, the Pixelcount studio, which is behind the title, has developers on board who worked on Fable. Here you can take a look at the trailer:

The sim takes you into a mysterious world in which you can not only manage a farm, but also have the freedom to choose between different professions: you can, for example, take over a pharmacy, a general store or a blacksmith.

In addition, of course, you also have the opportunity to collect or cultivate all kinds of materials and to produce useful things. But adventures await you too. You can go and fight monsters in the woods or discover secrets.
