Hogwarts Legacy: Overture to the Unwritten – Listen to the theme song for the action role-playing game here
Warner Bros. Games and Avalanche software recently have one orchestral music video to Overture to the Unwritten, which featured gameplay scenes from Hogwarts legacy is underlaid, which on February 10, 2023 should appear.
In it, players will experience life as a student at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and embark on a perilous journey to uncover a hidden truth of the wizarding world.
The magical melody of Hogwarts Legacy
“Overture to the Unwritten” features local studio musicians from Avalanche Software’s home state of Utah, including choral and orchestral members from the University of Utah, BYU and the Salt Lake Symphony Orchestra, as well as acclaimed recording artists Nicole Pinnell, Nicole Klossner, Ryan Shupe, Abe Kaelin, Bart Olson, John Knudsen and Dune Moss.
The video, which was filmed at Big Idea Music Studios in Sandy, Utah and at Media Grabbers in North Salt Lake City, Utah, features the original composition by composers Chuck E. Myers “Sea”, J. Scott Rakozy and Peter Murray that of a 54-piece orchestra conducted by Nathan Hofheins. You can listen to the video embedded below.
Projected behind the orchestra and inserted into the music video are original gameplay scenes from the game. Below is this Hogwarts Castle and its vast surrounding areas, including Hogsmeade. The newly composed song evokes a magical melody while at the same time reminiscent of past soundtracks from the films without copying them.
Hear the game’s music in two albums
Fans have been able to stream or digitally purchase Overture to the Unwritten since December 5, 2022. All music from Hogwarts Legacy will be available on the Hogwarts Legacy Original Video Game Soundtrack on game release date.
Additionally, songs from the game will be featured on a second album entitled Hogwarts Legacy Study Themes From the Original Video Game Soundtrack, an album focused on relaxing ambient music concentrated, which is certainly ideal for learning in various schools.
Both albums will be released by WaterTower Music and will be available on all digital streaming services.
