How to change the time of day in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Many Disney Dreamlight Valley fans should know this: You come home from school, work or activities in the evening, start the game and are first greeted by a gloomy night. In Dreamlight Valley, the time of day was based on your console’s internal clock. This was particularly annoying for those who were late to play and could hardly see their Valley in daylight.

With the big winter update, that’s finally changing. You can now set whether you prefer day or night in the game.

This is how you can set the offset time of day

You can now easily change the time of day in the game menu. Just follow these steps:

  • Opens the menu and switches to the tab settings
  • Click on the tab steering
  • Vote here Staggered time of day and set the required hours

You can advance or advance the time of day of the game by 12 hours here. For example, if you’re playing when the sun is setting in-game and then set the time of day back six hours, you’ll also get an additional six hours of daylight.

No time travel: The change is purely optical in nature. That means you’re not actually rewinding or rewinding time here. So you can’t speed up the growth of vegetables or skip entire days. The game continues to make the progression of time dependent on your console’s internal clock.

That’s still in the Toy Story update

The December update also brings some major new features to the game. So there are tons of new recipes, we get the new Toy Story kingdom and Woody and Buzz Lightyear as residents. Another Disney character has also joined Dreamlight Valley, but the Alien Stitch is still hiding behind a multi-day quest. In addition, we can now also enter codes in the game – but the first free item has so far puzzled fans.

Did you wish for this feature? What improvements do you still need?
