God of War Ragnarök: Video shows how stupid it must be for Mimir to hang out like this

Here you can see Kratos and Mimir as he comes into play first, but as we know his position changes.

At some point in 2018’s God of War, Mimir hangs out with Kratos. But really: Only the head accompanies Atreus and Kratos while it hangs on the belt of the god of war. Nothing changes in God of War Ragnarök either. Which has the annoying side effect for Mimir of being able to follow the events only from a very unfavorable perspective. This funny video shows what it should look like.

God of War: Mimir has the worst view in Ragnarok

God of War as Mimir experiences it: Imagine visiting the most breathtaking parts of the Nine Realms, climbing high mountains and enjoying the most beautiful views – but always and without exception looking in the wrong direction. That’s exactly how Mimir feels.

While Atreus and Kratos, the god of war, always look ahead, Mimir can’t help but watch their backs, so to speak. Or at least keep an eye out in that direction. A head attached to a belt can’t just change that.

But the attachment also has the disadvantage that Mimir’s head is always thrown back and forth extremely wildly in the fights. And if there’s one thing God of War and God of War Ragnarok really have in abundance, it’s combat.

Here’s how some of the most memorable scenes from God of War and Ragnarok appear from Mimir’s perspective:

You tried: If you’ve lingered in the world of God of War Ragnarok long enough, you can hear a conversation on the subject (you can find a Video with it on Tiktok). Atreus asks if Mimir wouldn’t rather look ahead, to which Kratos explains that they’ve already tried that.

Mimir then puts it on record that there had been difficulties with “Viscera”. This roughly translates to internal organs or intestines. Apparently, Mimir always got blood and guts when Kratos dismantled his enemies into their individual parts.

Of course, that sounds a bit ambiguous. It could also be related to the “smells” emanating from Kratos’ intestines. However, Mimir should perceive them better in his current position than on the front of the god of war.
