After the successful start of the Zen 4 generation, which previously included the Ryzen 9 7950X/7900X, Ryzen 7 7700X and Ryzen 5 7600X processors, AMD is probably already planning to release the next CPUs. Like the portal wccftech citing internal sources, three more models should soon be able to celebrate their release.

These CPUs are the non-X versions of the Zen 4 processors. AMD is planning the upcoming release of Ryzen 9 7900, Ryzen 7 7700 and Ryzen 5 7600. The announcement of this will take place at the upcoming CES 2023 trade fair – according to the report, CEO Lisa Su will hold a keynote on January 4th at which the new AMD CPUs will be presented.

The release itself should take place a few days later. According to wccftech sources, January 10, 2023 is scheduled for when the three latest AMD processors are to officially go on sale. In addition, the presentation of a successor to the popular Ryzen 7 5800X3D gaming CPU is planned – however, it is not yet known when a potential Ryzen 7000X3D model will be launched.

Like the leaker”chi11leddog” on Twitter, the prices of the new AMD CPUs are said to have already been fixed. Logically, the non-X processors are a bit cheaper here than their slightly faster counterparts: According to the rumors, the Ryzen 9 7900 should be priced at 429 US dollars land as an RRP and have a boost clock of up to 5.4 gigahertz.

The Ryzen 7 7700 is also cheaper as an eight-core processor, which is said to have a price of 329 US dollars with a boost clock of up to 5.3 GHz. The new portfolio is rounded off by the Ryzen 5 7600 six-core processor, which has an RRP of 229 US dollars and is said to have a maximum boost clock of 5.1 GHz. Euro prices are not yet known.

The new AM5 socket can use PCIe 5.0, DDR5 and more.
