Two PSVR2 launch titles confirmed: Moss and Moss Book 2 are coming in February

Sony confirms Moss and its sequel Moss: Book 2 as the launch title for the new generation of VR headsets. The two games will launch alongside PSVR2 at the end of February.

Two more PSVR2 exclusives

Already a PSVR exclusive, Moss told the charming story of Quill, the mouse, who embarks on a grand adventure through a beautiful fantasy world. Quill is not alone, because you help the little mouse to solve all the puzzles on his journey.

You hover like a ghost over Quill, who is shown in third-person perspective, and interact with the world that seems so huge from Quill’s perspective. You control the mouse and at the same time experience his story in a wonderful way.

More about Moss:

Moss: Book II will return to PlayStation VR in Spring 2022

Moss: Free update released with new chapter Twilight Garden

Moss is available now on PC for Oculus Rift and HTC Vive

The second installment, Moss: Book 2, also released for PSVR earlier this year, marking a magical farewell to this old generation of VR hardware. On the PSVR2, both titles should offer new game mechanics and improved graphics. For example, optimized lighting and 4K resolution with 90 frames per second as well as eye tracking, better haptic feedback and adaptive triggers that react to your input force.

Along with Horizon Call of the Mountain, No Man’s Sky, and The Dark Pictures: Switchback VR, Moss and his sequel form a small roster of launch titles. Unfortunately, if you already own the two Moss parts, you can’t upgrade them for little money, but have to buy the games again for the new hardware.

Those who pre-order the PSVR2 version receive at least a ten percent discount for one game and 20 percent for the bundle of both titles. The introductory price for a title is $29.99 and for the bundle it is $39.99.
