Valheim: New Update Brings Magical Powers and Mistland Biome – News

The latest update to the survival game Valheim (in test, grade 8.0) brings the magic to the world inspired by Viking legends. With the magical energy Eitr, which comes from the roots of the Yggdrasil tree of life, you harness the powers of the elements or of life. The magic is cast using special staffs that have been added to the arsenal of items along with nine weapons.

The newly added Mistlands, where new resources and enemies await you, are one of the largest and most complex biomes of Valheim and, like all other areas of the world, must first be discovered. In any case, the new area lives up to its name – as can be seen in the gameplay trailer. In addition to the light haze that hangs steadily over the land, the fog can also seem to thicken, making it difficult for you to keep an eye on your surroundings.

Apart from that, it is now possible to keep and breed chickens in Valheim. The feathered creatures do what they do best: lay and hatch eggs.
