Ghost Story Games introduces Judas, an all-new single-player narrative first-person shooter.
Ghost Story Games, the development studio led by Ken Levine, has previously announced that Judas, an all-new narrative-driven single-player first-person shooter, is in development and will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC platforms through Steam and the Epic Games Store is released.
The new project was unveiled at the Game Awards 2022 as a world premiere by Geoff Keighley, and now there’s a little more info on the game’s story.
A disintegrating spaceship. A Desperate Escape Plan: You are the mysterious, troubled Judas. Your only hope of survival lies in making or breaking alliances with your worst enemies. Will you work with them to repair what you destroyed – or will you leave it all to the flames?
“We founded Ghost Story Games to build on the legacy of System Shock 2, BioShock and BioShock Infinite,” said Ken Levine, president and creative director. “With Judas, we created an entirely new world and cast of characters while experimenting with different approaches to narrative single-player first-person shooters.”
Ghost Story Games was founded by Ken Levine (Creative Director of System Shock 2, BioShock and BioShock Infinite) and former developers of Irrational Games. The studio aims to create narrative driven experiences based on immersive worlds and gameplay. Her passion and her career have provided genre-defining experiences for over 25 years.
Ghost Story Games is in the middle of developing Judas and will self-publish the game. Further details will be announced in the new year.
