Wild Hearts: More details on the Kemono beasts

Electronic Arts and KOEI TECMO have announced more details about the Kemono beasts in Wild Hearts.

As part of The Game Awards (as we previously reported), EA Originals and KOEI TECMO released a new trailer for Wild Hearts that offers a closer look at some of the biggest Kemono players will face in battle. The new AAA hunting game will be released on February 17, 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

The Kemono pose a real threat to the dreamlike landscapes of Azuma. The massive beasts have become one with their environment, using the power of nature to shape their surroundings and fight for territory.

In Wild Hearts, players will encounter a variety of kemono throughout their journey – from plant-covered squirrels to giant flora grunts and more. The new trailer introduces three of the most powerful Kemono in the game: the ferocious wolf Frostgrim, the massive falcon Amaterasu and, for the first time, Goldsturm – the cruel, merciless tiger with his tornado of sand and gold.

Wild Hearts is available for pre-order now. Pre-ordering the Wild Hearts Standard Edition will get the Wild Kemono emote and five chat stickers: Poker Face, Just Woke Up, Praying, Best Friends, and Sleepy.

In addition, the Wild Hearts Karakuri Edition with additional unique items is now available for pre-order. In addition to the regular pre-order bonuses, pre-orderers will receive two full armor sets (Karakuri Samurai & Karakuri Ninja), a decorative Tsukumo Lantern, and three different emotes: Fighting Spirit, Humility, and Trumpet Shell.

In Wild Hearts, players can either roam Azuma as a lone wolf or hunt together with up to two friends in a pack thanks to the game’s cross-platform co-op and cross-play features. Players can expand their battle plans and play special missions as they hunt in packs, join other hunters in the world, or face the Kemono alone. The game will have voice acting in German, English, Japanese, French, Italian and Spanish.

Wild Hearts will be released on February 17th, 2023 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Origin, Steam and the Epic Game Store.
