CoD Warzone 2: Activision defused the “unfair” skin
In a recent blog post, Activision announced that the Los Angeles Thieves skin for Call of Duty Warzone 2 will undergo major changes. So far you could buy an unfair advantage with the dark suit, now the skin should be much more harmless. The issue of refunds is still unclear.
Call of Duty Warzone 2 is still on everyone’s lips and enjoys great popularity. For precisely this reason, publisher Activision also continuously provides the community with updates and new content, some of which is subject to a fee. A few days ago, a skin pack caused an uproar in the community because it contained a suit for the virtual avatars that made it possible to avoid being discovered so quickly.
Call of Duty Warzone 2: LA Thieves skin is becoming more harmless
Specifically, it was about the Los Angeles Thieves package, which could be purchased for 9.99 euros and had partially stormed the Steam charts. That already gives a deep insight into the level of popularity this skin pack had enjoyed. The skin in question was almost entirely pitch black with a red logo on the front. This made it difficult to see other players equipped with this skin in certain lighting situations.
In a recently published blog post, Activision has now announced that the skin is to be significantly defused. Accordingly, more red highlights will be used and the black design has also been lightened slightly. Now, of course, there is still the question of how refunds will look for buyers of the original skin. Although this should be possible in principle, there are currently no specific instructions or a timetable for this.
