Diablo 4: What the hell? The collector’s box does not contain a game – not even a download code
During the eventful Game Awards ceremony, something happened that dark fantasy and action RPG fans must have been looking forward to for ages. Blizzard revealed the release date of Diablo 4 as part of a terrific live performance by singer Halsey. Embedded in a stirring CGI trailer, it was announced that players from June 06, 2023 finally allowed to chop through the ranks of the spawn of hell again. But that’s not all: The pre-order phase was also officially launched. But before you, as a fan, excitedly pull out your PayPal account with trembling hands and hit blindly, there is one important thing to consider.
Diablo 4 – many different versions available for pre-order – but one does not contain a game

A hardcover art book, a map as a poster, an attractively designed SteelBook and perhaps a detailed figure often ensure that limited collector’s editions sell out quicker than an aging pop star’s farewell tour.
